12 sleeps to go

Kids could barely eat their breakfast this morning when I told them there was only 12 sleeps to go. Aaron and I took the kids piggy banks in to get cashed up yesterday and change the money from their savings accounts. The bank ladies were all sighing with relief that they didn't get us as their customers. Pity the poor one that did... all those 10 cent peices to count. Was a relief to cash it in as I thought the strap of my hand bag was going to rip with the weight of all their coins.... perhaps I need a piggy bank to bankroll my shopping trips!

Amazing in the kids school banks accounts Quinlan had saved $900 and Sophs $600 Wahoo!!!! They were also very excited to get their piggy bank money changed into $USD which is some nice pocket money for them for the trip. The kids Aunties and Nanny and Poppy have been giving them US money for Birthdays throughout the year so the kids are rolling in it! We are really going to have to reiterate the baggage allowance message I think! One set of Mickey Mouse ears each! LOL

Two Weeks to go

How exciting..... two weeks to go. We have been so busy with work, school and after school activities that we haven't had a chance to think about the trip in too much detail. All the accomodation we need up until beginning of January is sorted. Transportation from the airport to Disneyland is done. Now we just need to get through these last two weeks.
